Dance Audition - 8:30-9:30PM

Rehearsals for Matilda take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, 6:30-9:00 and Saturdays 10:00-2:00. You may not be called to every rehearsal however you need to be available for the times in which you are called. Tech week runs May 26th - 30th with performances on May 29th and 30th. Tech week is mandatory and conflicts are not allowed during that week.

Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical

All ages are invited to audition for this Main Stage production!Inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl, the Tony Award–winning Matilda the Musical is a high-energy, heart-filled celebration of imagination, courage, and girl power. Bursting with catchy songs, dynamic choreography, and unforgettable characters, this joyful production delights children and adults alike with the story of a remarkable girl who dares to dream of a better life.

AUDITION INFORMATION

  • All ages welcome

  • Children under 18 must be enrolled in ILFT’s Musical Theater Class to be eligible to audition (Enrollment does not guarantee a role)

  • No appointment necessary however you must fill out the audition form.

  • Please bring a head shot or recent picture of yourself.

  • Prepare a 1-minute song that fits the style and theme of the show. Bring your track, accompaniment will not be provided.

  • Dance audition required (bring comfortable movement clothes)
